HomepageArticlesForgot WordPress Password, WordPress Password ...

Hello,

If you forgot your WordPress password, even if the password reset button is not working, there is no need to worry, in this article we will show you how to reset your WordPress password the easy way.

One of the fastest and surest solutions is to change the user information on your database. For this, of course, you need to be able to access your WordPress database, but if you do not know how to access it, you can get support from us by contacting your hosting provider.

1) First you need to find out which database your WordPress site belongs to. You do not want to make changes on a wrong database, if you do not know how to find it, you can read our article named “Which database is WordPress installed on”.

2) Hosting, no matter which web panel you use on the server, when you log in to your web panel, you can access PhpMyAdmin by clicking the phpMyAdmin button in the databases section. If you don't know, you can easily log in to your database like this.

3) You will see two buttons on the left side. Select your site's database and click on the "+" sign.

4) Click on “wp_users” from the drop-down list (usually at the bottom). Here you can access your user information.

5) Double-click on the “user_pass” column in the row with the user you want to reset. Replace the code here with the code “f13cebcda3c62921637ce6e4fe0e3ebb”.

6) Your new password has been changed to "aslanhosting123".

With your new password, you can enter your site.com/wp-admin. Your username is the same. If you do not know your username, you can read our article named “Forgot My WordPress Admin Username”.

After logging into your WordPress panel, you can change your password as you wish.
